In order for a company to be able to process credit card transactions in St. Kitts and Nevis it must maintain a permanent establishment in St. Kitts and Nevis or, alternatively, a majority of its principals must be resident in St. Kitts and Nevis. If this is not the case, then the credit card companies will not allow for said company to have a merchant outlet in St. Kitts and Nevis (see relevant cross border regulations of the credit card companies).
The administrative office services, provided by Fidesco Trust Corporation, go towards satisfying the requirement for a permanent establishment in St. Kitts and Nevis for the type of business mentioned above (i.e. processing credit card transactions).
If a company which is processing credit card transactions is also carrying on any other business, then please note that the credit card companies will expect for the permanent establishment in St. Kitts and Nevis to consist of a much larger infrastructure than only just an administrative office (e.g. own employees, own office space, own telephone and telecopier lines, etc.).
